merge to form Dundee, Perth & London. The two companies were
rivals on the Dundee-London route. | | 1830 | The company`s first paddle steamers, Dundee
and Perth ordered | | 1901 | The company opens a London terminal at Dundee Wharf, Limehouse.
Dundee, Perth & London now carry coal, machinery, paper, whisky
and other goods on their services, as well as passengers. | | 1920s | The company takes over Thomas Cowan`s sailings from Leith
(Scotland) to Southampton. The company`s list of destinations
expands to include Lisbon and Barcellona. | | 1931 | Scotland-London services stopped carring passengers | | 1961 | All cargo services to London are transferred to rail | | 1973 | The company wins a contract to operate an oil rig supply base
