Unique ID:10150
Description:Seven soldiers stand looking at a camouflaged German aircraft. A Swastika is visible on the tail of the plane and there are bullet holes all over the fusilage. One soldier stands on the roof, looking down and a machine gun barrel can be seen poking out from a gun position in the side of the plane. The aircraft is sitting under a camouflage net in a field, are the soldiers guarding it or just satisfying their curiosity? Make of aircraft is probably Heinkell He 111 and was shot down on 12 July 1940 in Hipley, East Dean in Hampshire.
