Walking tours

Take a free guided tour for a more detailed insight into Southampton's fascinating past. Qualified city guides, most of whom are Blue Badge holders, give regular tours of the city's medieval walls and maritime waterfront, starting at the Bargate [ map]. The tours take in key sights, like the Maritime Museum and the city walls.

Tour times

Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays: 10.30am

Daily (June - September): 10.30am (and at 2.30pm in July and August)

A fee is charged for groups of eight or more. Further details are available from the Tourist Information Centre in Southampton.
