The Plimsoll Project Partnership brings together institutions
with exceptional and important collections on maritime history. The
partners are - Southampton City Council
- Lloyd's Register
- London Metropolitan Archives
- National Maritime Museum
- World Ship Society
It is led by Southampton City
Libraries, part of Southampton City Council. The Institute for Image Data
Research at Northumbria University will be carrying out website
evaluation for us. Content from the different partners' collections
is being digitised and made available on the PortCities Southampton
