Interactive games and Java
Java is a technology used to run the games on PortCities
Southampton. If you want to play the games, you must have Java
installed on your computer. Most computers have Java already installed, so you can start
playing straight away. If the interactive games do not work, your computer may not have
Java switched on. (In Internet Explorer for Windows, click on Tools
then Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab and make sure the
boxes under the `Java` heading have been ticked.) If you do not have Java installed on your computer, you can
download it from www.java.com.
