Working timber, a young lad, Gregory, his brother matter of fact used to play football for Southampton, he got killed on the timber hoist 'cos they say that when he put the chain underneath he stood the wrong side and when the timber collapsed he fell and the barge and the timber came on top of him, and I know that for instance. You 'ad to 'ave your wits about you. I think timber was one of the worst things to work that's why when you work timber you never work timber whilst it was raining, 'cos the ropes we were using they wouldn't bite with the rain and once it was raining ... and if it slipped, well you could lose your hoist, see.
